Shanty Red - A Horror Novel by S.A. Check

Checking in from Shanty Red town.  Just wanted to let everyone know that everything that can be shipped has been shipped.  We had a couple international orders that were previously impacted by the mail strike in Canada which are now on the way.  Please check your emails for tracking info if you are one of those folks.

Thank you again to everyone who supported S.A. Check's newest novel.  We hope you enjoyed the story and the extra goodies we shipped you for supporting our projects. 

Whew - that was an Easter marathon!  But we managed to ship out all but 7 orders (that have problems which need to be resolved).  The vast majority of backers should have been emailed tracking - please check your Backerkit associated emails and check your junk folders in case it was stuck in that filter.  Most domestic packages should arrive this week.  International probably takes two - three week depending on where you are.

And as a bonus - we gave everyone 2+ bonus Shanty Red/Slaughterville playable cards and a free copy of S.A. Check's Cartoon Puppet Horror Theater comic book.  This had a TINY print run - you're one of the lucky folks to get a copy as it is impossible to find at comic shops.  We always like to give our backers lots of fun extras as a way of thanking you for your support.  Its because of you that we can bring these projects to life.

-2 Backers from Canada - for some reason USPS isn't letting us ship to Canada - we're investigating the issue

-1 Backer from Finland - there's some informational issue with your shipping address we have to resolve as its showing as non-specific (they can't match the address with a place)

Just a quick update from the printer - Shanty Red is on press!  We are expecting to get our copies in about two weeks and we'll begin shipping them out to customers right away!

What a great way to start the weekend!  The digital copies of Shanty Red have now been distributed through Backerkit's pledge manager.  Please check your email to download your copy and start reading it on your favorite devices.

We got the copies of the trades and the hardcover proofs and everything looks good.  We had one minor issue with the barcode on the back of the hardcover that is being fixed right now.  If all goes smoothly - we're going to try to order the actual copies of the book so we can schedule fulfillment in the upcoming week.  This is our first time making a prose novel so we're a little unsure of the printing and shipping timetable from the printer but we will keep you updated.  We hope to be filling these books in the next two weeks and will keep you posted.

We're going to go ahead and lock the pledge manager orders at this time.  I believe they will charge shipping to credit cards so be on the lookout for that charge so you know what it is.  It should say Backerkit - American Mythology (though we aren't completely sure if it will have any other information).
